I found todays lessons to be very informative since I have never really engaged with fashion journalism, apart from consuming it.
I think I wrote a good article and it was fun to interview each other. As far as my actual pages go I am uncertain. I do believe that it looks good BUT not very new, creative or interesting. I think I played it save. I need to think more out of the box. Maybe I should try to see it more as a collage rather than thinking so much about it being a magazine page, for some reason that seems to limit my creativity. Anyway, I will have another go at it at home and maybe look up some inspiration.
I haven’t had time yet to think about my PR but I’m sure I’ll come up with something, especially considering that we have a hypothetical unlimited amount of money at our disposal and nothing is off the table. I think doing something in collaboration with national art gallery or if I’m not thinking about London the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris, which has the worlds largest (permanent) Monet collection. Doing something related to nature would also make sense, for example renting Kew Gardens as a location. Those are just some things of the top of my head while on my way back home on the tube. I will sit down later and do some more thorough brainstorming.
